Douglas McKelvey, Author, Every Moment Holy
Wherever there are people, there are opportunities to engage the holy. That’s certainly Douglas McKelvey’s approach to his work. Now in three volumes, McKelvey’s Every Moment Holy offers contemporary liturgies for everyday moments, from the ritual of morning coffee to the preparation of a meal, as well as liturgies for those moments when few people can even form words, during times of grief and national sorrow, and beyond.
Several of McKelvey’s liturgies are available as broadsides, featuring artwork by Ned Bustard, which make great gifts for the coffee lover, cook, new mother, or book lover in your life. (I have two in my kitchen, and I love them.) Explore the liturgy prints on The Rabbit Room.
McKelvey is also offering electronic access to an advent journal this holiday season. You can access it here.
